Mba Strategy – Corporate Management and Planning Programme

The Mba Strategy Programme lasts one year and it is organized in 1500 hours study. The Mba Strategy – Corporate Management and Planning grants 60 CFU.

The didactic programme is organized as follows:

  • n. 460 hours: Class lessons
  • n. 40 hours: Anlisys School
  • n. 100 hours: workshop, conferences, istitutional meetings

 

UNIT 0 – BASIC KNOWLEDGE

During this unit, candidates follow foundation modules to ensure that all required standards are met prior to further study in specific areas. This Unit also allows candidates who have been away from the University experience for some time, to re-enter into “study mode” and better organize their time and responsibilities.
The Unit is divided into the following modules:

  • Introduction to Economics
  • Accounting Basics and Standard Definitions
  • Introduction to Finance
  • Introduction to Legal Affairs

 

UNIT 1 – STRATEGY AND COMPETITIVENESS

Strategy and Competitiveness have guided the organizations of the “real” world and their leaders for years. Globalization brings fierce competition for any business. Becoming competitive is a critical business strategy. The challenge for students is to use innovation, technology, quality and human resources in an integrated approach to promote excellence. The Unit is divided into the following modules:

  • General management
  • Corporate Finance
  • Project Management
  • Strategy, Organization and Innovation

 

UNIT 2 – CORPORATE PLANNING

This area mainly consists of subjects that have to do with business planning and will allow the students to get awareness and know-how in terms of problem solving, so that he should be able to face with critical urgency and challenges. The Unit is divided into the following modules:

  • Corporate Strategy
  • Sales Operations
  • Business Security
  • Business Communication

 

UNIT 3 – BUSINESS FUNCTIONS

This stage provides a thorough insight to the main functional areas and processes of any business operating both in a domestic and international context. It builds its strength on the study of the fundamentals of business, such as operations management, marketing, organizational behavior, planning and control. The Unit is divided into the following modules:

  • Planning and Control
  • Marketing
  • Organisational Behaviour and HR Management
  • Taxation

 

UNIT 4 – VALUES-ORIENTED MANAGER

The MBA concentrates on helping students developing a robust ethical framework to assist  them in everyday decision-making. The meaning of integrity, values and beliefs is analyzed to drive behaviours and direct actions. Graduates will develop a high sense of personal responsibility and a keen understanding of the ways in which managers are accountable to their companies and their communities of stakeholders. The Unit is divided into the following modules:

  • Ethics and Economy
  • Negotiation and Decision Making
  • Legal Affairs
  • Internationalisation

 

UNIT 5 – SPECIALIZATION AND PROJECT WORK

The method of project work (PW) forms some of the foundations of the way students learn. The PW takes the shape of  the simulation of a  team consultancy delivered for a client organization. The MBA explores three different optional specialization areas:

Entrepreneurship
• Business Intelligence
• Innovation strategies and processes
• Internationalitation and Globalization

Finance
• Corporate Financial Planning
• Strategic Finance
• Risk Management

Corporate Strategy and Marketing
• Innovation Marketing
• Corporate Governance
• Information and Communication techniques

MBA STRATEGY: INTERNSHIP AND PROJECT WORK

In the last part of the Mba, Link Campus University will offer the opportunity to experience a period of internship – from 3 to 6 months – in Market leader companies in Italy and abroad.

Relevant part of the MBA Strategy programme is the editing of the final Project work or Dissertation corresponding to a consultancy delivered for a client organization.
